need help with crashing :(

the game D/L'ed fine, but when i try to open it, it just crashes. and then it won't even log it. says it can't connect to the server, or some such. help?

Check all your security programs and firewall to make sure that nothing related to SL is being blocked by them. If they are all ok then restart your router, leaving it off for at least 10 seconds.

If it still won`t connect, see if you have the same problem with a different viewer, such as Phoenix https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Third_Party_Viewer_Directory

Note: On login screens that require a first and last name, your last name is Resident.

Hello Iam. If your message says "Unable to connect to simulator", is related to an invalid character in a group tag. We have a jira about that: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-6608 

So the solution is to remove your badge / tag and to delete it. After that i think you can log in again. If you are a premium member is highly recommended to use Live Chat and to ask for assistance. If you aren't a premium member i can't suggest you to submit a ticket.

You might need to disable your firewall or change settings to allow SL to run. There are several possibilities, try typing cannot connect to server in the search field at the top right of this screen.

Ansariel: i would, but the popup isnt open long enough to really memorize what it says >.< lol

I'll try reconfiguring my firewall specifications and see what happens. Thanks everyone for your advice
