Is there a place with makeup freebies for new users?

Freebies for makeup, lipstick, hair, etc. for new users? I recall there being a place with a village setting that's name started with "White", but forgot what it was called.

There are many stores that offer gifts. Some have a free group join so you can take advantage of that to get the things you want. You can find stores in sites like this http://slfreesandoffers.blogspot.com/p/group_13.html or if you have Facebook,Flickr etc you can see the designers offering free makeup etc too. There's also marketplace. There are many places to look for.

(That landmark might land you in an odd place; they have rearranged things since I picked it up. They still have the freebie village though).

Also try Alaskametro - all her sets have one free "demo" that is actually wearable - it doesn't plaster the word "demo" all over your face, but you don't get all the diferent colour options, just one from each set.

Alaskametro on the MP - they do free 'testers' samples of their makeup ranges that include Omega appliers for mesh heads and system layers for classic avatars and BoM mesh. As well as the many specific samples there's a 'mega pack' of system/BoM layers.

The winter "Shop & Hop" is worth having a mooch around there are stores with free cosmetic gifts some are for specific mesh brands though as well as loads of other freebies. it covers 6 regions Gilded & Tinsled would be good places to start/end
