Unused Male Avi Item Donations :)

HEY EVERYONE! 😄

I was wondering if any of you would be beyond generous by giving me any unused male heads, skins, mesh body, hair, and/or apparel that you might have laying around in your inventory. I'm currently not in the financial situation right now to purchase any L$, so I figured why not ask you guys for stuff you may not need anymore. I love Second Life and would absolutely love to feel confident playing as my avi and feel like I fit in, as well. Anything is very much appreciated!

The majority of the types of things you've listed are 'no transfer' which means they can not be given to another avatar.

There are a lot of gifts this time of year with many stores participating in Advent calendars or having sales or other specials.  There are a couple of blogs that specialize in listing 'steals and deals' in SL, highlighting freebies (or items very close to fee).  If you filter the marketplace searching based on cost ranges, you can find free or inexpensive clothes, hair, etc. (though probably not for mesh bodies or mesh heads).

I played for years with out putting any money money in there whatsoever.   You can do great with group gifts and freebies.  Though I did eventually start hosting and stripping for money.  Search for Fabulously Free group and SL Free and Offers.  You can find lots of other groups through both.

As others have said, most items for an avatar appearance or clothing are no transfer so it is impossible for them to be sent to anyone else. Some have suggested that you try out group gifts and free offerings and whilst there are indeed a lot of these about most are aimed at females which is indeed a far more lucrative market.

Being male and wanting good quality but free or cheap mesh items is going to be a source of disappointment - men have always had a raw deal in SL when it comes to looks and fashion and the small amount of quality designers out there need our L$ to keep on producing content.

However I would really encourage you to visit Gabriel as they have loads of mesh items priced at only 1L$ - whilst they are not designed for specific mesh bodies they will fit all but the most oddly proportioned ones. You can pick up a number of really quite superb outfits for next to nothing.

All of these things are "No Transfer", they cannot be sent to anyone else, not even your own alt. I have a TON of male stuff including a Signature Gianni body that I will never use again and would love to give away, but it's impossible.

One alternative option for a free mesh body and head is this one: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/RothTooRC1-Bakes-On-Mesh-Blue-Leather-T/18140733 It's Bakes-on-Mesh-ready so you can wear any classic skin and system layer clothes on it, no need to buy appliers (compared with other free bodies that do not allow you to change the skin at all). The pack includes the clothes and hair too. The body and head are separate so you can wear both, or either one.

That's actually quite a good look considering it is all free. It just goes to show that you can look not bad. The Dura hair is probably what sets the whole look off though.
