can not move

i have phoenix veiwer..i also tried this in imprudence and v2....my avarar is frozen in place. she willl spin, but wont go forward or backwards. then like 5 minutes after i try to move her, she shoots across the sim walking on her own. i tried dumpig cache, relogging 5 different times, updatesd my laptop, emptied 2 gb of memory by uninstalling 2/3rds of my programs..and its still acting like that. ?????????????????????????????????????????

Double check first at https://secondlife.com/my/support/system-requirements/index.php?lang=en-US to be sure that your laptop meets SL's minimum standards. 

If it does, try rebooting both your router and your modem by unplugging them for several minutes and then plugging them back in.  If you have been using a wireless connection, try a direct cable instead. The behavior you are describing sounds like a bad Internet connection, so those steps may help.

This sounds more like a connection issue rather than memory. Either an extremely slow connection or wireless connection with very week signal. Try logging on directly into an empty sim to mitigate lag, try this sim name "Radar".

It is none of the above, I am having the same issue using multiple viewers but with only one account. If I log to my main account I am OK. I have had a friend log into my account and the same issue occurs

This only leaves an SL issue with the servers on their end

I had this happen to me once before! On your login page try changing your location to another sim, this should cure this particular problem. Also try to go to your inventory & remove all attachments your avatar may be wearing. Best of luck, I think if you try both these things in combination your av will be okay again!

Check all attachments. There can be scripted objects which cause the problem with movement. It is also one of main reasons why there are problems with teleporting sometimes.

If you are using the firewall program ZoneAlarm, failing to allow SERVER permissions to SecondLife.exe will cause exactly this same problem.
