a complete focus on a caricatured runway model body stereotype

And there, in a nutshell, is one of the key reasons why this kind of thing usually sucks.

Thanks, Taya! Useful information!

Maybe it should be a trivia contest where the men have to answer manly questions like, "What is the ideal truck axle ratio for towing?" (had to google for some weird manly question).

Down to the nearest micrometer, what is the ideal BBQ size required to feed six guys watching a football match?

Back in the 70's and 80's, the "manliest man" stereotype with mustache and such became a stereotype for a type of "gay clone". Is that what we're going for here?

I think the main problem with a manliest man contest is that a truly manly man would never enter such a contest.

What if he's an "extremely manly" Metrosexual?

The food size or the grill size? How big are the guys? Do they have equal appetites? Are any of them vegetarians?

True manly men aren't browbeaten into not showing emotions in front of others. They aren't trained from birth by other men to not cry in front of people. They are allowed to be human.

I read the criteria that the women here think should be in a Manliest Man contest.  It's all good stuff, I wonder what the guys here think a manly man should be.  What do men think is manly?

I see quite a few men inworld with the big arms, small head, tattoos look. I also see the ones who dress impeccably in 3 piece suits, nice shoes, perfect hair. There are plaid donning , boot wearing, manicured facial hair hipsters.  I figure that is what they each consider the ideal man physically.

SL is a very visual platform, but I find my idea of the manliest men criteria is in their personalities and temperament.  I'm not sure there is a way to have a personality contest, but I'm willing to take a look at all the photos that the men see fit to post.  😁

I think @Angelina String was briefly enrolled in this?

I think when I was a young avatar I was in something like this, there was this run way thing and I fell off the stage..

I left humiliated and in tears people were laughing at me...

I felt how Carrie must have felt.
