Animation alignment not matching between two people's avatars

So basically, my boyfriend and I see two completely different alignments in our poses. I will adjust the pose (using AvSitter or whatever built in adjustment is included in the furniture) and I will spend 10+ minutes aligning the pose perfectly, only for us to look like our avatars are conjoined twins on his screen. So like the placement and adjustments don't ever match, and I'm not entirely sure why? I updated my viewer recently and we were synced up for like a day, but now we never match anymore. has anyone else had this issue before?

 

just a bit more info -

We are both on the same version of Firestorm. Our AOs are not on. Hover height is set to 0 for both of us. Shoebases are off. We're legit scratching our heads. It happens on every animation on multiple different brands of furniture.

I've found issues like this when trying couple poses with my alt IF one of us had avatar impostors set to below 3.
