Tibet Enzo
hi! i'm experiencing some issues about the way i see AVs. In most of them (including mine) there is part of their chest missing. I already upgraded firestorm for the latest version and did not help. log in and out several times and it did not help either. I thought it could be some mesh related issue but it seem not affecting all mesh AV....Can anyone help? Thanks!
Lillith Hapmouche
Just judging by the screenshot of the screenshot, you seem to run very poor low graphic settings. Your GPU might simply be too slow to render the missing details. Those gentlemen seem to use the same body, probably high complexity, thus they fail to get rendered correctly. If you want more than plain guesses, sharing your hardware info would be greatly helpful to help the helpers. Found in the Help menu, then About Firestorm, then please copy and paste the text from the Info tab.

Lillith Hapmouche
First off, bring down your draw distance to 64m to reduce the render load. Or even less in a fully loaded area. The GT 720M as GPU is low end and showing its age, but I'd expect it to be capable of fully rendering mesh bodies. Rendering quality is said to be "high", but better make sure that "Basic Shaders" and "Hardware Skinning" are activated in your Graphic settings. Did you ever mess with Debug settings, following so-called "performance boosts" to "improve mesh rendering"?
Roxy Couturier
Another choke point for your system is the 4 gigs of RAM. There might not be enough room with the sheer amount of data that an un-optimized sim could incur, let alone individual meshes and textures on people around you. Try going to a relatively empty sim, such as an ocean/sea sim, where there won't be much background clutter or people and see if your own mesh will appear for you. Your system has 64 bit, so it should support more RAM.
Morena Tully
you may want to try a clean install. I had a very similar issue a few years back, but for me, it was always the left hand missing on all system avatars. I just learned to live with it, then when I got a different computer, the issue was gone of course. I suspect it's a small corruption that a clean install usually fixes. I didn't want to bother with it. Edit: actually, my post is junk. Seems it's mesh that isn't rendering, I misunderstood. I'll leave it though, just in case. Nalates Urriah
Your graphics driver is 388.57 and the latest is 436.48... so up date that. I think this may be the more likely cause of the problem. Try zooming in and out on the bodies. It may be your LOD setting and this particular body. Some people making mesh don't understand how to deal with LOD. The 2+ you have your LOD at should eliminate that problem for decently made mesh, but check it. Poorly made body is the 2nd most likely cause. The GT 720M is not that bad a GPU. A number of people still run on the way older 9800s. So, I doubt GPU is an issue. The 4GB of RAM will affect your FPS but everything should still rez.
