twisted208
Wondering would there or is there a rule to prevent someone from taking photos in clothes and with props they did not create and selling said photos in Sl and RL ?
Alyona Su
No. If you take a photo, no matter what's in the photo, you own the copyright on that photo and can do anything you want with it. The only exception is if there are people's faces (recognizable) where you must have a model release from them saying it's okay to sell any image that includes them. This information is based on United States copyright law, different countries may have different laws that apply different rules. However, since this is Second Life forums, I'll presume the question applies to Second Life snapshots and Second Life is owned by Linden Lab, which is a subsidiary of Linden Research, all of which are U.S.-based organizations, therefore, U.S. laws will apply.
