Can't see Titlers/Floating Text on objects or Avatars

I'm not sure if I toggled something off by mistake,

suggestions please?

There's a difference between titles and titlers.  You can indeed turn off titles in your Preferences, where there's a check box for Group Titles

This is the display in Firestorm.  The standard LL viewer's is similar. Group titles are displayed by your viewer.  A titler, however, is a scripted attachment that an avatar can wear to put a floating label over her head.  You can't do anything to make that display go away, although you can set snapshot options to keep it from appearing in a photo that you take of the person.
