There are things worse than being naked.

I'm half serious about this: the screenshot I get whenever I try to log in shows me wearing an absolutely awful dress I bought yesterday. Like, it's more a bathrobe than a dress, really.

What was I thinking???

It's bad enough living with one's wardrobe fails, without being reminded of them every 2 minutes.

Well. I hope they can fix that ASAP. It's either, or is it a thing related to electrical energy and the Kinacade fire, or is it a DDOS attack, like back 2018.

Maybe more like PG&E pulled the plug on them. Not a Californian myself but have heard directly from friends who are and their utility is doing unilateral "pullings of the plug" to keep the blame from them during this fire season. Apparently a really big chunk of California was to have their power cut today (Sunday).

As of 1:32 pm SLT it's possible to log in to Beta grid (AKA Aditi).
If somebody wants to go there to do something, it's available ... 😁

So, it appears that the login issue is only with Agni grid.

crazy..I've been on SL for quite some time but I think i never posted something here. I also was building and thought about relogging as things got weird. So guess many are apparently having logging problems at the moment. Well...hopefully people are ok over there in California.

Hiya! We're also hoping to be able to resolve this as soon as possible.  Of all the people having no fun at all with this, I'm pretty certain our Ops team is having the least fun of all.  Send them some love and hang tight. So sorry this is messing with everyone's weekend

Watch out Portland and Seattle.. Lots of people in CA talking of moving north to cooler, wetter zones. We're getting tired of all the problemos!

Can confirm, however, being a bald default gray avatar for a few seconds and then disappearing entirely like most of those around me (just name tags) isn't necessarily a sign of a functional grid.

Try Canada. Portland and Seattle are 1. full and 2. not a whole lot better off climate- and fire-wise.
