Event posting and land teleporting

My question is does the slurl posted in events override a parcel's teleport routing? Seems no matter what we do we can't move an event to a special skybox in the air instead of our club on the ground without having issues getting people to TP to the skybox instead of the club.

As you discovered, a SLURL does not override a parcel's having teleports limited to an arrival point.  (A teleport offer from one person to another DOES).

There are two solutions.

1.  Open up teleporting on the parcel, or
2.  Split off a small parcel directly under the point in your skybox where you want people to arrive.  This smaller parcel can be either set to open teleporting, or you can set an arrival point in your skybox.  Then post your event using this parcel's description.
