Why does my SL freeze when I use the search feature?

I'm using the latest Phoenix version.  Of late, it's been really laggy.  For the last week, anytime I try to use the search feature, SL freezes. In fact it locks my entire computer. The audio begins to skip and it seems like I might crash, but I don't.  I've waited as long as an hour for it to unfreeze, but it never does.  I have to actually do a hard close on my computer in order to get out of it.  Any ideas?

I had the same last year, I did reinstall my operating system, used latest drivers for my pc and that solved it though *meows*

Hi Jen,

I suggest doing a totally CLEAN reinstall of Phoenix 1050. Please see here for instructions on how to do this http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/doku.php?id=clean_reinstall . If you have any more problems after that, feel free to drop me an IM inworld
