Trick or Treat/ How do you handle it when they come to your second life home?

That is very cute like the mini haunted house on the lawn. Other then seeing the many costumes and kids going out to trick or treat Halloween is not a holiday I really go all out for but do enjoy looking at others that do and what they come up with. But I did something simple to my hubby's house in the front going to add a trick or treat bowl so people can stop by and get some candy :).

I DID IT! Come experience my Trick or Treat - you WILL receive a trick instead of a treat if you get it wrong! (And I give the BESTEST TREAT you will EVER get from anyone else, I guarantee it.)

Go here and stand still - wait for everything to rez. Then start moving closer. When you get within range of the coffin, it will pull you in! Then it will ask you a question. OH, and turn your sound UP! Creepy-speak is included! If you want to see the "other result" from what you get, just step far away from it, then let it pull you back again (Range is about 10 meters, I think).  I couldn't do the orbiting bit because the scripting was just too complicated. And LL Home areas are all no-push (so it also won't suck you in if used at an LL home, but otherwise it will all work as intended. Even @Patch Linden would approve. )

lolol  and big hugs and congrats. But i will just watch from the top of my boat eating a candy apple. My poor avi the past month of only parts rezing or her in a cloud . I may pop over though later ,,,, again congrats and whoot hoot and big hugs

Thanks! I'm not a scripter, so it became a total *vendetta* to make it work and I'm kind proud of myself!

I made a modest tribute to the excellent Halloween theme creators, an exhibition with some photographs of the most beautiful melancholy landscapes in SL, the house is open as a "pop-up gallery" open for visitation until November 3rd.
