Email verification

I am being asked to verify my email address but I no longer have access to that email address. How can I update my email without verifying the existing  email address?

change your emailadress in your account page, the confirmation will be send to your new one, and be verfied instantly

It won't let me change because the existing email is not verified.

You will have to file a support case.  LL will probably ask you to answer your "secret question" or provide other means of positive identification.

One of the 'secret' questions is to name 10 people on your friends list. It is a good idea to gets a copy of your friends list and save it where you can get to it when locked out of SL and need to prove you are the owner of that avatar account.

Spelling, my weakness, of the names is important.
