Selling land and getting paid...

I put my land up for sale and after two weeks I lowered the price. I got a notification that my stuff was sent back and I see someone bought it, but I haven't received the lindens

perhaps group owned?
In that case the sales price goes into group dividends.
Those will be paid daily ( around midnight SLT i thought) equally shared in the roles that have the group liabilities enabled.

In all cases.. check your L$ transactions.

If it was group owned, you may have a problem.

As Alwin says, when group-owned land is sold, the proceeds get divided up among all group members who have the group ability "Pay group liabilities and share group dividends" enabled, in the Accounting section of the abilities tab.  This ability is enabled by default for all group members, so unless you changed it, it's active for everyone.

If this is the case, it's probably too late to affect the distribution of the sales proceeds, but you can try.  Go into your group's info tab, and disable this ability for every group role except the Owner role.

Thank you both, Alwin & Lindal for responding. The money was divided and luckily for me, I was able to retrieve all but 1,500L$ and that last amount went to my bff who doesn't log in anymore. I had about 10 people in the group, all who are great friends!
