No premium benefit

Question

Hi. Had this account since 2008 but just now upgraded to premium. My credit card has said the payment has been pending for 3 days. Can go to land but can't rez anything and haven't received any L$ yet. Not seeing the benefit yet lol.

You won't received L$ immediately, but you should start receiving a L$300 stipend every Tuesday.  The one-time L$1000 payment happens after 45 consecutive days of first being a premium member.

In terms of land and rez permissions, I'm not sure what you're referring to specifically.  There isn't any premium benefit that directly relates to being able to rez things due to being a premium member.  The premium benefit that relates to land is the 1024 sqm of free tier that can be used towards tier costs of a mainland parcel you buy, or can be used for getting a Linden home. 

Other premium benefits have to do with things such as being able to belong to a larger number of groups, being able to get into full events easier, a larger number of IM's before they get capped, Live Chat support, access to premium only sandboxes, periodic premium-only gifts from LL.

What do you mean, your credit card says "the payment has been pending for 3 days"?  If your card company hasn't paid LL, then you are not yet a Premium member, and can't expect any benefits!  Get this straightened out first*.  Call your card company, and call LL Billing, 800-294-1067 or 703-286-6277.  Also check your account status under Account/Premium Membership on your Dashboard page.  This should show which Premium payment plan you are on...IF you are in fact a Premium member.

Next, the "can go to land but can't rez anything" issue.  Did you sign up for a Linden Home?  If you did, and you were assigned a home, check your Land Manager/My Mainland on your Dashboard page.  Be sure that you are going to the Linden Home whose location appears there.  When you are at (what you think is) your home, double check ownership by looking at World/Parcel Details and check to see that you are listed as the parcel owner.  Linden Homes all look alike, and it is very easy to be in the wrong home by mistake.  This will, obviously, cause the rezzing problem.

Another way the rezzing problem can arise is that you are trying to rez something too close to the parcel border (which is pretty much the outer walls of your house, in a 512 sq m Linden Home).  Try rezzing your object near the middle of your home, then edit it into its final position.

Finally, getting $L.  Stipends are paid on Tuesdays.  If you just now signed up for your Premium membership, you'll have to wait a few days to get your first stipend payment.  The $L1,000 bonus payment won't be paid until you have been Premium for 45 consecutive days.

*Remember that LL does not accept prepaid, gift, or debit cards.  Be sure you are using an actual credit card as your payment method.
