So, I am leaning about Bakes on Mesh and love it so far.  But I have a strange problem.

I am trying to wear some of the mesh clothing I wear on my classic Avi.   So I have a BoM body from Alantori.  Things seem to work correctly.  My classic skin bakes through, and the tattoo also.  I can wear classic layer clothing just fine.

When I 'add' the alpha that came with say my mesh jacket, the body parts disappear as expected.  And when I 'add' the mesh jacket, it initially looks OK.  But if I zoom in at all, holes appear and then don't go away.  If I take the  alpha off, my skin shows through the jacket where the holes were.

My friend says I look fine in their viewer.  Though if they change their graphics to 'Mid', the holes show up, and don't go away when they go back to 'High'.

I have tried the current SL viewer, and current Firestorm on two different Windows 10 systems (so two different graphics cards.. though both are Radeon).  And tried it on the current Firestorm on Linux.

Windows 10 is up to date, and I updated the Radeon drivers to the latest.

Any ideas?

It's not just the jacket.  It is also the jeans (different vendors).

And I have tried different clothes, same problem.

I have three different computers that can run SL/Firestorm (two Windows 10, one Linux) and have tried it on all three.  Same problem.

They do all have Radeon graphics cards (but a couple of gens apart), and I've updated the drivers on the newest one.  that didn't help.

It looks like the system alpha is working differently on the BoM

Thanks for the feedback though.

I think I might be able to find a computer with an NVIDEA card and see if that makes a difference.

So.. the plot thickens.

I have found some clothing that works.  So there is a setting on the mesh (or less likely, the alpha) that works differently for BoM than for classic avi's.  Now to get some modify clothing so I can see what makes it work/not work.

Edit your avatar and see whether it's set to "Alpha Blending" or "Alpha Masking." Alpha Blending can make things behave very strangely.
