Maitreya applier I made doesn't work on hands and foot.

Hello,

I tried to make a tattoo for Maitreya body that includes hands and foot part. But the hands and foot part seems not applied while other parts are correctly applied. I tried toggling Gloves button and Socks button on Maitreya HUD Layer tab, only to find the previously applied texture still there.

Are there anything beginners often overlook?

Are you sure the tattoo design is in the correct place on your texture?  The Maitreya UV is the same as the default avi UV, so if your texture works on that then it should apply correctly.  I don't make tattoos, but I have made pantyhose for Maitreya and it applies correctly so long as the texture is correct.

Thank you for your reply. I used the defaoult avi UV map as a template, and the texture on arms was applied corrrectly, so I  believe the placement itself was correct. The hands and foot are independent parts on Maitreya, so some workaround may be needed. I'll try again with different settings, thank you.

Just a thought, have you copied the lower texture into the socks line on the Maitreya texture loader notecard?  I forgot to copy the upper part into the gloves line and had shorter sleeves than I should have had on a sweater for a while until I realised!!

Filling those lines made the applier work correctly. I wrongly thought those lines are optional and only necessary when you use a different texture for gloves and feet. Thank you very much, it greatly helped.
