Who cares if avis have duplicate display names?? There are duplicate names in RL.  Robin Hood was one of my teachers.

Someone wants to pay money to you for whatever reason. There might be several avatars with the display name BelindaN. Are you willing to take a chance on your money being randomly paid to someone else instead?

Same for Marketplace deliveries. You pay for something and it gets delivered to another random avatar with the same display name.

Someone sends you a private IM with embarrassing RL info about yourself. Someone else called BelindaN receives it.

The list goes on...

The entries that say they're non-gacha Truth hair that aren't sold by Truth Hawks aren't legit. Copybotted versions of antique Truth hair are thick on the ground.
