All are invited to join us for a special presentation on Lymphedema lead by Tessa Dartel on Monday, September 23 at 1pm slt at the main resources building on the American Cancer Society region.

Lymphedema refers to swelling that generally occurs in one of your arms or legs. Sometimes both arms or both legs swell. Lymphedema is most commonly caused by the removal of or damage to your lymph nodes as a part of cancer treatment.

There are 4 stages to Lymphedema and this presentation will help you to understand the signs and symptoms of lymphedema, and more importantly , what to do to learn to manage it.

In RL Tessa Dartel is a cancer survivor and is a Ph.D., RN and Licensed Lymphedema Therapist.

**Disclaimer: This presentation is purely for informational and educational purposes and in no way should take the place of speaking to your healthcare provider about any signs or symptoms you or a loved one are experiencing that are or could be Lymphedema.**
