It's not a problem with your viewer (even if you only have this problem on a specific viewer).

The cause of the problem is the creators of those items being too lazy to make any lower "levels of detail" for the model and expect/force you to increase your graphics settings, which causes FPS drops for you. The only "fix" is to increase a setting called "LOD factor," but you wouldn't need to do that if the creators of those items weren't lazy.

Wulfie likely has nailed the problem.

There is a Debug Setting that can be changed to reduce the problem, RenderVolumeLODFactor. The default in Firestorm is 2.0 amd LL 1.2. You can set the value higher at the cost of additional lag for everyone. But, stuff will stay rendered longer as you zoom out.

IF you Alt-Left-Click on something and zoom out and it falls apart, it is an LoD issue. The Debug Setting can compensate for the POOR design, but there is a cost.

The idea behind LoD - Level of Detail is performance. As your camera gets farther away form something it gets smaller on the screen. Thus less detail is needed. So, a building's last level of detail could be a cube with a picture of the building pasted on the sides. Door and window detail wouldn't be needed as it is so small you wouldn't be able to see it. A simple picture would do.
