smirkingdevil
I just discovered that one of my product reviews was flagged and removed. I did not receive a notification this action was taken, or at least that I can tell. I reviewed two products from the same vendor. One item dealt with an LOD issue that the vendor could not provide assistance beyond, "use Firestorm." The flagged review was for an item where the MP listing shows a low LI value, but in fact uses much more LI when the item is actually being used. The vendor got rid of my first critical review by delisting the item that had the LOD issue and listed a new item. They contacted me in-game and sent me the newly listed item, so fair enough. But having my second review flagged is disturbing. All I see is the following: Your review for this item was flagged and has been removed. You may not leave another review for this item. I have no idea who flagged my second review and no clear way to make an appeal. If anyone can shed some light on this situation and how I might appeal this decision, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Almost all mesh does this so I guess they figure it is up to the buyer to know that. Edit -- that was to the OP as I am guessing Pam knows that LOL. Tired and hit the wrong button. Wulfie Reanimator
It doesn't matter who flagged your review. It was manually removed by a Linden, so the only way to make an appeal is to make a support ticket about it and include a link to the page. We can't even begin to guess why it may have been removed because we can't actually read your review and how it was worded. "I just pointed out X and Y" isn't enough because there are many ways you could include things that don't belong in a review. The reviewers should have a copy of what I wrote and tell me exactly what the issue was with the review. Hopefully they will allow me to edit the review to remove any offending parts. Thanks! Yes, Dakota Linden has written the definitive description of good/bad reviews and why they would be flagged.
