Do you have a license to show these movies? Just as a DJ actually needs one so does someone showing movies and TV shows for profit.

The entire goal of the Movie group was to bring people together who have the same joy in films as myself  we wanted to make the experience of movie on the beach and the garage theater as close to rl as possible however, doing it and up-keeping land costs to do such we decided to *at the time* add a fee but after some thought and complaints we have made the entire project free hopefully we will be able to maintain it.

Just a guess here.. You ditched the whole project? The group you list in a few times doesn't actually open in SL as a group. Searching for it by name pulls up nothing. Its not in your profile. Is there a new group? How about a LM to this free movie beach/garage?
