Clifton Howlett
Hi, ATM I try to start Secondlife on my Workstation via RDP. Fenimore Hapmouche
Try if you can launch it in your RDP session if you use the --noprobe switch. See http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Client_parameters
Clifton Howlett
Hi @Fenimore Hapmouche, thx for the fast reply. There is no change with this switch the same errormessage.
Fenimore Hapmouche
Ah sorry, it seemed like an option that could possibly help. So I guess the solution, barring any better idea, is to launch SL before establishing the RDP session. Could perhaps be done with a scheduled task, psexec, powershell remoting, etc.
Clifton Howlett
hmmmm seems not the best solution if i need a restart of the viewer i have to close the RDP connection.
Lyssa Greymoon
I think it's because RDP uses its own display driver instead of the Nvidia driver. I don't think you're getting around that.
Clifton Howlett
Hi @Lyssa Greymoon, other app's start normal with RDP (like Sansar or games like Anno).
Clifton Howlett
Seems i found the issue. There are problems with openGL and RDP nvidia quadro cards support this, RTX cards not

Clifton Howlett
Hi Resi, Not really. The quality of the TeamViewer connection with a 4k Setup is really low and the most time the 4k Resolution ist not available. With RDP its like working on the own desk .
