Windows 10 all viewers stopped loading my avatar

wtf is this I payed for this avatar payed for body payed for clothes payed for layers payed for some crappy systems now when I try to load my paid avatar it keeps giving me errors like unable to find body part avariel skirt unable to find body part slinkphysique unable to find body part unable to find body part and i sit there as cloud untill I choose a free avatar please help  me I quit second life because of this I even did a fresh windows install since it started months ago it didnt change anything

I have tried sl viewer , singularity , firestorm, rlv viewer

What difference does it make? Did you really think that just because you pay for something, it will work better?

because you think everyone is stupid how about you presume I downloaded the latest version from their site what update is there theres no updates latest all version for viewer dont work and yes I expect when I PAY FOR SOMETHING FOR IT TO WORK at least better than its free counterpart whats the point in giving sl money real life money if I can j play just default avatars with freebie accesories from market

what you think I come here asking for help with old outdated viewer lol I said I even changed windows since then what are you smoking or are you blind or something?

Here's the deal, whether you pay for your avatar or not, we all get the same issues. If you are too dumb to understand that, then perhaps you should not be on SL.

That's exactly how SL works. You do not get preferential treatment because you paid for an avatar. After 2 years in SL, you ought to know that.

quite often these problems start with something like a missing or corrupt hairbase on the underlying classic base avatar then cascades into all sorts of other issues

what I would suggest is to rebuild from the free avatar base that you indicate does work for you

Clear cache. Relog.  Load the free avatar. Remove all its attachments. Then change to your normal shape.  Save that as "My Shape That Works"  Relog. Then assuming you have a full mesh body and head. Apply the full body transparent texture.  Save Outfit As "something".  Then add your mesh body, hands, feet, eyes, etc. Save Outfit As "something else" as you go. Relog. Then add hair, clothes,shoes. Save As "again"

if at anytime you save/relog and you are a cloud then you have narrowed it down to some corruption that you have attached/worn since the last save/relog

 

edit add: Sometimes it is not us, sometimes the region server we are currently on has gone wonky. Test this by logging in to another region, doing the above avatar rebuild if necessary

It’s probably not a problem with your stuff, but your inventory is jacked.

there is also a method that involves clearing your cache, logging into the beta grid, waiting for your inventory to fully load and then logging back into the main grid. Someone who knows more about this can explain it better than I can, maybe they’ll read this thread and help you with that.

... and maybe clearing Inventory cache?  Also, I would get a redelivery on the mesh body,  delete the old one and just start again.  

I suspect something upstream like your connection and settings might be involved, but only a guess.

Also, I must say the one responder above with the snide attitude clearly has personal issues and has polluted 5 hours of this post.  Surprised s/he has taken those useless responses down yet.  Fully an embarrassment.

I reatached everything and it worked  for a few days now im white cloud again im sick of this crap pls help free avatar works fine but slinkphisique mesh body avatar which I paid real money for keeps giving me this bull***** im sick of it I dont need this crap in my life why im payiing for stuff to not work wtf

@Lancewae Barrowstone - The initial responses are due solely to the tone and attitude of the OP, an attitude it seems that they have not lost in the time since your response.

@Catwon - If the suggested steps worked then follow them again. Follow them each time it happens and see if there is any specific step/item in common.

And yes, by and large most users simply do not have these issues and what issues they do have, are handled with a far better attitude. Paid for content, free content - it does not matter, things happen, suck it up, try to solve it and move on.

Welcome to life in general, where paying for something is not a guarantee of a bloody thing.
