I'm not sure of the issue but my avatar seems to be floating, going into the ground, constantly. I've looked into ways to resolve this..And my hover height is set at 50. I know that seems to be a common issue. I also try to adjust the hover height under preferences. But where it seems to fix the issue when i stand, as soon as i try to go and sit i'll be floating.

Is there a standard hover height i should be set at? There are pictures to give examples.

looks to me like you'r wearing feet for high heels or footshaper for high heels, try a flat one to see if it's really your height?

sitting above the couch might be a result of your hoverheight adjustment, or if your total size is different (or some mesh bodies seem to do the same by their structure) animations can show that. Most furniture has a adjustment setting in the menu.

ps:  wear clothes if you post pictures here.

It hard to tell from the image but it looks like you are trying to use viewer preferences to adjust for height on furniture. It doesn't work that way. Use the menu in the furniture to adjust.

I keep my hover height slider open all the time and I constantly making adjustments.

Funny, just the other day I was in a convo about hover height too. :) Personally, if possible, I like to 'bake' mine directly into the avi shape; but you really do get a much finer granularity with the QuickPrefs. (Via 'Appearance', you only get to adjust in increments/decrements between 1-100).
