Question

My friend can no longer log in her account. This happened a few times before randomly, and then after a few days it would work again, but now it been over a week already. What happens is that she stays stuck at the "Logging in..." screen.

https://prnt.sc/oopb0h

This screenshot is Catznip viewer, but tried about every viewer we could find, also FS and the LL classic viewer.

On rare occasion she gets in after a long wait but at that point nothing mesh loads. Not just on her avie, but in the whole of SL no mesh items will show. We tried all the tricks on her avie, completely resetting her to Ruth, different viewers, cache. She has an alt account that works perfectly fine, so its not her PC or internet either.

The only thing that comes in mind for me is her inventory size and layout maybe? Its rather large and unorganized, can that be the cause of a problem like this?

It could be!  Inventories that are very "flat" can cause the viewer login to time out before they load.  "Flat" means that the inventory has a great many items in very few folders...like a single clothing folder with ten thousand items, rather than one organized into several layers of sub-folders for dresses, gowns, tops, lingerie, pants, and so on.

Fixing a flat inventory structure may require getting help from LL via a support ticket, unless she can log in and stay stable long enough for the inventory to load and then to start creating a more layered structure.

It could also be this bug if your friend is on Windows 10, running a 64bit viewer , has Intel graphics & is wearing a jacket layer on the affected account.

BUG-225655 - Viewer freezes while "Loading world..." - Intel HD 620 / Intel HD 630, Windows 10

Get your friend to go to Help -> About Catznip & paste the system information here.

150k items in a very flat inventory structure sound like the problem yeah :)

Going to try and balance the load a bit in her inventory and see how that works out
