Silence snapshot sound

I know some people can hear when you take a snapshot but I don't like this as sometimes I like to be subtle lol. Is there a way to silence this?

Yes, in the Advanced menu at the top of your screen.

If the Advanced menu isn't showing at the top of your screen, be sure to choose that option in Preferences >>> Advanced

Also – and for others reading this – you also can press CTRL+ALT+D on Windows or CTRL+OPTION+D on macOS in any viewer.

And, while you're about it, hit CTRL+ALT+Q too, to show the Developer menu.  Both Advanced and Developer have many useful commands and features.
