Land deeded to incorrect group.

I've recently purchased my first full sim region from Linden Labs and during development of my sim, I deeded the land to my development group.  Now that we're open to the general public, I've come to realize that I'm unable to figure out how to change the group the land is deeded to.  Now I fear that if I follow the suggestions that I've come across, if I were to Reclaim the land, that everything that my group and I have built on this sim for the last two months will get returned.

 

Is there a way that I can re-deed this land to the correct group without destroying months worth of hard work?

Yes.

First, set the land's autoreturn to off (set return time to zero).

Second, set the land to sell to yourself for $L1.

Next, wear the group tag of the group you want to be the new owner.

Then, buy the land for the new group.

If you later want to turn autoreturn back on, you will have to go around and be sure that everything on the land is Set to the appropriate group first.
