I wanna delete my account.I went to account > delete account, and it's still there

Here's the thing, @migoda...LL doesn't want you to go.

If you are a Basic member with a free account, there's a "cooling off" period as Alwin says.  Lots of people delete their accounts, and later are sorry they did, so LL lets you think about it for a while.

If you are a Premium member, you can't delete your account at all until you sell or abandon your mainland, abandon a Linden Home if you have one, and cancel any tier you have donated to any of your groups.  Then, when you do delete your account, it will still remain in effect for the period you've paid for.  If you paid for an annual subscription yesterday, then delete your account, it won't go away for an entire year!

Rather than deleting your account, for most people it's a better idea to simply downgrade it to Basic (if you are a Premium member), write down the password somewhere safe, and then just put SL away for a while.  That way you can always come back right to where you left off, if you change your mind.

your account won't be gone the moment you click delete, you have a grace time for a day.
Next to that you have 60 (i thought) days to reactivate your account against a small fee, but will all inventory will be there.
After that time you still can reactivate your account, but no garantee your inventory will be complete.
Unless you file a GDPR ticket, and ask for removal of your personal data, your account will be resting there till someone pulls the plug from the servers. A total removal isn't possible.
No need to file a ticket this soon yet.
