abeautifulday365
HI! I visited an inworld store to buy some hair. All the hair was being sold as a demo, and I tried them on until I found one I liked. The problem is I don't know how to buy it! I'm walking around with the sign above my head trying to figure out how to give someone money for this hair. The store doesn't appear in "Marketplace", as far as I can tell. Can someone tell me how is this done? Thanks!:smileyhappy:
JoJo Moeleneaux
Hi, Did you try going back to the store where you purchased the demo and purchase the non demo version? (Edited to change to a question instead of a statement :smileyhappy:)
abeautifulday365
I didn't see a nondemo version at all. I'm in the store now, so I'll give another look.
JoJo Moeleneaux
There's usually pictures underneath the demo version or sometimes there's a blue box that pops up when you attempt to buy some hairs where there's an option to buy the demo or non demo version. Also try contacting the store owner if there are no note cards in store showing you how to purchase the hair. I'd come in world and help but I'm off to work. Hope you find it. abeautifulday365
I appreciate your help! I might have to contact the owner, I think.
Peewee Musytari
Usually with hair there is sets of colours shown in panels & you click the set you want to buy. Like the blondes or the browns etc. and sometimes there is a panel for buying the full set of all colours.
abeautifulday365
Yeah, it's weird. I tried everything I could think of. Then I tried to flag down a fellow shopper, but she disappeared!
Lyra Blackthorne
Usually to buy hair you click on the box that shows the hair color you want. There will be a big picture of the hair style and then the colors usually arranged below it...click on one of those and you should see a buy or pay option
Marianne Little
What Lyra said. And also, sometimes it is boxes stacked under the big poster. Sometimes the boxes look like Hair color boxes you buy in RL. But also, I have had trouble buying sometimes, when it's not possible to click the "buy" options. It could be something the store owner did wrong, or simply a SL glitch. If the demo option is the big picture and the full prize version is small boxes on the side, the demo "box" could be covering them, making it impossible to buy. So it depends what the OP means, can she see options to buy full prize hair, and it will not let her buy it? Or is it impossible to find out where to buy? abeautifulday365
It's impossible to find out where to buy. There is absolutely nothing I have tried that works. I've bought other demo items before, but this one isn't working out. It's a shame, because the hair is perfect.
abeautifulday365
Just wanted to report back that I contacted the seller and now have my hair, in case anyone out there was losing sleep worrying about my bald head :smileyhappy:
Rhonda Huntress
Yea! Contacting the seller is usually a good choice for most things. I think people in general want to help -- especially if you are buying something they made.
