I am a little uncomfortable to write this as I have an "old" account... but to give you a little backstory, I joined SL years ago on a whim (with my rl bestie), hung around for a week or two pretty much exclusively flying around with her (I believe in a place called Sexy Freebie Paradise 😜), trying on some pretty average clothes and having a bit of a laugh. It soon became boring (surprise!). My bestie left sl and I did too. It was an easy decision to make as I was not immersed in the experience and had no connections to anyone on sl.

4 years ago I logged on again. The second time around I was more interested in exploring. I had specifically been interested in connecting with Harry Potter fans, wearing a uniform (it's what I feel most comfortable in) and so on. As it turned out, I ended up finding school to "attend" (a private college, but not HP related). I can hardly say I was a diligent student or serious when it came to rp (which I have little to no experience in), but I made some friends there and when it was fun, it was a lot of fun. Life happened and I left sl again after a few months.

I recently decided to come back. The school that I attended 4 years ago is now closed and this time I am more interested in connecting with people who are into HP/wizarding world stuff, specifically. I have applied to attend Hogwarts through a dedicated HP sim (waiting for my owl 😉), and the people I have met there so far seem cool. But if anyone else would like to connect with me in the meantime, feel free to get in touch.

I hope to rp a student (Ravenclaw) while in school but I won't be there exclusively, I think. I also spend some time at the beach (and it's pretty much the only time I am not in my school uniform, so I am probably not the best clothes shopping buddy 😄, though I am open to it).

If you like HP, have nothing against school uniforms (or hanging out with someone wearing one), consider yourself a student/professor or a non-active member of any Hogwarts house, etc and you want to know about me, you are welcome to visit my profile or message me. I'm in Europe, so might not be online when most of sl is, but I am a bit of a night owl so it is possible our paths may cross. 🙂

Hi Marz, 

I wasn't sure if the Hogwarts School RP was still kickin, I play an adult and teen avi and I was looking to get my teen avi into either a University or new school rp! Glad to know it's still kickin. If you have anymore information on it I would love to hear about how to apply and make a new friend while at it :D

Although it's safe to say I am rubbish when it comes to forum activity (lol. Apologies for the ridiculously belated response!), I cannot doubt that this has potential to be a viable way to connect with "your people". Case in point, you ^^^ are now three of my best friends.

Thanks for taking a chance on a random Swedish Ravenclaw girl.

Well, I am into being magical and just being me, which is pretty much a shiny iridescent purple torx key in a beige flat-head world. 

I spend a bunch of time with some random (mostly unaffiliated) fae and we have a great time dancing and flaunting our lovely faery wings!  I don't really want to 'play' at being a child.  Been there, did that, wore the uniform, got bullied, pretty much hated school (and yes, I did go to school under the same sort of British inspired system that Hogwarts is, so...)

But... I love Harry Potter (I don't even hate Ron Weasley🙃).  I write fanfic (mostly Buffy related) and would love to be in contact with fans of things like Buffy, Harry Potter, Lucifer and (non magically) Criminal Minds and other cop shows... and newcomer to the Outlander fandom (jury is still out as to whether I am a 100% fan of outlander, for... reasons). 

FTR, I detest and abhor and revile all things Twilight, just so you know!

Anywhoo, if you're interested in being in contact with someone who has an eclectic interest in fantasy and things full of color and wonder... drop me a line via the forum messages, or simply IM me in SL (I will get it in my email).  If you send me notices, they will likely get buried in my black hole (my name for my terrifying inventory) and though I will know someone sent me a notice, I won't have the content.

PS: I like to think of myself as Ravenclaw, but my most recent times doing HP sorting tests I've gotten Griffyndor and Slytherin.  I'm fond of blue and green, not so much red.  Who knows? Maybe the Shadow!

No problem about resurrecting this! Lol. I am kinda sorta inactive on sl just now (and the forums, evidently xD), but the HP love just doesn't die in me... so I will definitely be back and I am happy to connect with you both in world. Will drop you both a line when I am on next... see if you're up for a butterbeer or sumthin'! 

I am also into a few magickal/fantasy fandoms, not a Twilight fan (Robert is forever Cedric to me), and I am into quizzing people to determine their correct Hogwarts house. So Blue, if you want to take a test with me, I am more than happy to give you one (it's legit)!

Fun* fact: I am a Slytherclaw, technically, as I was a hatstall on the original Pottermore... but I identify more as a Ravenclaw, so chose blue for myself.
