Anyone is welcome even if they don't have a home yet:) (if you do a search under groups for Bellisserian you should see them listed). Bellisserian Citizens and Bellisserian Community are two I know of that are quite active. Some people have 'open' houses you can go visit too (there are many posts on the forum to explore about all this if you can).

I installed auto refresh at first because I was curious how often homes & boats were showing up (More often than I thought, actually). But yes, the times I have grabbed one, it's been because I was manually refreshing the page. Using the refresher, I tended to have the page in the background. So when something came up I had to add in the time it took for the tone to go off, me to react & tab over, move the mouse to next, and then hit accept on the TOS. Whereas, if I were manually doing it, one hand is on F5, the other has the mouse lined up ready to go. I tried autorefesh in the last three days for some HOURS on a netbook next to me while I was doing other things on my tower but though today I saw four houseboatrs appear EVERY time the alarm rang and I hopped up and clicked like mad it was too late! I got an ERROR then saw the same boat again - then ERROR again two or three times over. I do not understand why they programmed the process that way. If you book a hotelroom or theater cards online they give you a certain amount of minutes to finish your order before they offer this special item to the next customer, sort of blocking it for you. I would not ask for several minutes but to block it for about 20 or 30 SECONDS before they throw it back into the pool - would that be asked too much? Perhaps @Patch Linden could tell me? Being offered something and when you say "YES!! I WANT it!!" allways getting the answer "sorry - too late!" is extremely frustrating!
Raspberry Crystal
Oh no, very frustrating! I used autorefresh to work out when the plots mostly came up, and had quite a few disappointments, then got my home using manual refresh on a very old android tablet. 1
Claireschen Hesten
Had at least 10 plots come up via auto refresh couldn't any quick enough some times when i clicked the link back to the selection page it was still showing boats or homes available that would come up "sold out" 1 or more further times before only showing the older homes again

Well, I just managed to get one minutes ago, I guess I was lucky. Bellisseria, Traditional Home, in Montag. Does it really take weeks for a Bellisseria home to become available? I think I read somewhere, that it is a bit over 3000 houses and boats in total. Maybe 3300. Those who abandon may have decided that premium is too expensive, they are tired of the location, think it's to few LI to decorate with. They will buy or rent somewhere with more privacy, solitude, more LI. Or they split with their partner and will not have bad memories. Whatever reason. I have an alt monitor the home page, and it's abandoned homes every day. They go in 5 seconds, because it's lots of people using auto-refresh and wait for Bellisseria to show up.

And using a mouse is faster that rubbing your finger over a mouse pad or screen. I miss maybe 6 of 7. Or more. (I just test how well it works, and abandon them) Unless I will move to another location. It is like this: I have a home. The alt hunt for exiting locations. Unless the alt get something really good, it's abandoned. If the great spot comes up, I abandon my home and use what the alt got. The home is in the alts name, but I use it as mine.

That is quite the same with me.... Alt hunting and abandoning till she fond something BETTER. I do have Autorefresh installed at my tower aswell ... and the netbook is equipped wit a bluetooth MOUSE ... no rubbing fingers! If I am seriously hunting I use the tower though because there I have a better internet connection (cable to modem instead of WiFi) I use the netbook more or less testwise to see how it works. PLUS I thought if a machine is only doing ONE thing at a time it might be quicker then if I work iun several windows simultanously. On the auto refresh I put Bellisseria whilst a home is my preferred choice I'd be happy to have a boat. Having had an older home previously I'm not interested in having one again yet they are still popular various Meadowbrook's are always going in/out of availability

Soull Starlight
Also almost got one! I have on auto-refresh and heard the alarm, but I missed it. 😅 Appreciations to the Lindens for the work- I just returned to SL not too long ago (started in 2007) and recently found out about Bellisseria. I own a lot of mainland and think it's always dope to explore and connect with neighbors! I can't wait to do the same in my new home. *crosses fingers, toes, and eyes*
GinaFreumann
I'm wondering now, I just rented a 512 on mainland (and occasionally refreshing for a Bell). Would the rental mean I wont be able to get a Bellissaria house or boat? I'd so hate to snag one & not be able to accept it! 🤯
