Can a muted person take photos of me?  I find people are taking pics of me when I want privacy.

Yes a muted person can take a picture of you.  Muting someone has no effect on what that person can do.  They can even talk to you if they want to.  You just can't hear them.

are you sure that they are taking pictures of you? are they sending the pics to you? even if they are muted and sending inventory offers i think it still reaches your inventory but goes directly to trash. so you are finding pics they took of you in your trash?

if what they are doing is against the tos then abuse report and ignore, that's really the best you can do.

as much privacy you can get in sl - get yourself a stand alone sim and close access to anyone but you. or get an alt no one knows about.

if you are using a viewer that has the "notify when someone takes a snapshot" or something, then know that this message spans at least sim wide. so the likelyhood that you would be the target is pretty slim. turn off the feature and go on with your sl.

Yes, a muted person can take photos of you.

 

To your privacy you can try the following:

-Go to another place.

-Add the person to the ban list of your land.

-Make yourself invisible to photos dressing an alpha layer with a texture of 100% alpha in all squares and detach all the objects.

-If the person violate TOS, use the abuse report tool.
