The Non Linden Home Picture Thread - Mainland Only

I just purchased a new mainland plot, located very conveniently near the road 🥰  So far, I've just put down my house, a fence, and some trees but I am very happy with it, plus the land was cheap.

I had to give up my Bellisseria home to get it, but I will eventually get another one.  With that said, I had made a copy using prims out of the older linden Tahoe homes, and in the process made a linden home away from linden homes.  It has all been shrunk down, as I typically use a fairy avatar that is pretty small, so the land appears to be a lot larger than it really is.  This is a 512sqm parcel.

But I'm really happy with my new location.  so far I've only used 32 prims out of my land allocation and expect to be far below the limit even after I have furnished my house.

I've had a parcel on Jeogeot for a little over a year.  I've been on most of the mainland continents over the years, but I like the default ground texture on Jeogeot the best.  I don't have many neighbors - the largest (and closest) pulled up stakes a few weeks ago.   I emptied my parcel out earlier this month, and now have it mostly re-done with a different house and landscaping, though there's still a few more things I want to do landscaping wise.

How lovely this looks, Jeogeot is an interesting place to be, especially if you can find good (or no!) neighbours.

I have a big decorating addiction.  To many skyboxes which I haven't had time to photograph.  I decided instead of just paying through the nose to decorate,  I would start renting out some of my properties I have decorated to help offset the cost.  Here is one of my more recent mainland decorating projects. It is also for rent too.  I have lots next to it that are empty right now, just haven't had time to do anything with them yet.  Snow Ocean Cottage

I wonder if you have part of the big parcel I used to own there? The description sure matches. :)

EDIT: I just had a look on the map, and it appears that you do! I used to have that area plus much of the land behind it. I lived there for several years; it's a great spot!

WHEW!!!  I just spent the last five days moving the store over and reviewing and changing 250 plus Marketplace items. I used up 4400 prims and now have about 6000 to use on the ground level.  Aside from the new Trompe Loeil that I put down the first day (yes, rezzing issues but a GORGEOUS house) I did some landscaping and plunked down my one no copy item from the take up of old house cause I really didn't want to lose it.

Resting now along with Pearl who looks pretty pale in this EEP setting. Maybe she is being empathic with my tiredness.  This is on one of the color sims where you can terraform more like a stand alone. And water on all sides so "almost" like having your own island and definitely cheaper.

I love that house too! I had to get it - even though I have no where to put it.

Beautiful! :)

Main items in kitchen. My favorite Trompe Loeil kitchen was WAY too big for the space (not a complaint really LOL) so I took one out of a house and it is really lovely in there (more photos later).  Bought some more of my favorite GACHA blinds for backups as I use a lot and got the oh so primmy (but I have thousands of land impact now and no neighbors) KAZZA bed on the Easter Egg Hunt. (see the all home funrishes thread).

Meanwhile Pearl seems to be doing OK as an inside cat (it has been oh so many years but she IS getting old and likely doesn't need to wander so much these days).

She does seem to be a bit puzzled though -- or maybe she just smell turkey cooking; that could be it.

It is a super cute house -- one of my favorites. It is much SMALLER than it appears to be though when you start putting in furniture. This isn't a bad thing for me since I love small, but I was very much surprised as it gives the impression of being "vast" LOL.

Ongoing project I have in the sky above Iris, a waterfall grotto made from all different landscaping assets. It has been fully animated with couple and single poses and there is an area for dancing too.

Well done!
