Nando Yip
A few more photos of the ranch on Route 8, I liked placing the house next to Galeria 56, the stone creates contrast and at the same time harmonizes with the straight lines of the building. A tip: the land next to my land has 4096m2 and receives 1406 prims, with direct access to the track, it is abandoned and that's how I bought mine directly from LL, in which case the cost price is 4,096 L $. if anyone wants my neighbor, this is the address. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Peraut/81/218/68 Edited March 20, 2021 by Nando Yip

Stephanie Misfit
Working on decorating this 3 x protected waterfront 1024 parcel on the old teen grid. It's much cheaper to get a parcel like this on G land than it is in mature areas. It has room for my boat, and lots of navigable water so that's good. I've always liked this Redgrave boat house so I think I will stick with that, at 101 LI it's just at the limit of what I would use on a parcel this size. I put in the Fundati swing tree from the current Decocrate, I really like it.
Stephanie Misfit
So my railroad parcel in Heterocera, I wanted a darker aesthetic. I kept the rock from Trompe Loeil's Valdis Cliffside Ranch but removed the house part, and fitted in the Bellamy Cottage instead, which I had seen someone use to great effect on a cliffside snow parcel except they put it on platforms. I like that this house comes with a kitchen. Still some decorating to do inside. And yes, there is the swan. And another thing I always put on my parcels is the tai chi balls from Abranimations, they are great for just chilling out.
SarahThe Wanderer
Random pictures from my newest home that I'm still working on, in Campbell coast; I've had the place for almost 3 months but didn't feel inspired to work on it, until I found this Bailey cottage from Trompe loeil in my inventory and immediately I got ideas! created a little secret forest behind my home, the waterfall doesn't look very good but I'll work on it last thing, after I'm done with everything else ( if you wanna locate my home, look for the biggest waterfall in the area, and you will find it : b )

Stephanie Misfit
I have a 4096 parcel at the end of Route 8a, right next to one of those nice Mole tunnels. I'll be putting my store in the sky there soon but wanted to do something on the ground because it's such a lovely spot by the road. Instead of putting up yet another house, I've gone for a garden, where my kittycats can live (thanks to Callie Cline for getting me hooked on those things). I've put my Teegle horse rezzer out, I got it half price ages ago but because I generally live on the water I never really had a place to put it till now. The bunny fountain is new, by Hextraordinary. It was a toss up between that and the fox fountain from Foxwood, equally pretty.

I loved your waterfall idea so put my own smaller one in a bit below it.

Back to Campbell coast I like how my home and Tamara's are looking together, Tamara's colorful trees is giving life to the area!

Lewis Luminos
Over the past few days I've been tackling what's probably my most ambitious home project to-date. It's bigger than I usually go for and I specifically wanted modern this time, partly because I haven't done modern before and partly because modern looks a bit better than traditional when overhanging the water. So this is the Caylin ranch by Trompe Loeil - with a few modifications (railings around the patio and balconies, an added steel and glass awning in the middle and a big deck/dock). I realised recently that while I change my house a lot, I tend to fill it with all the same furniture every time, so I made a point to get some new things for this one. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Badger/221/210/82 - open access in case anyone fancies taking a look around. Exterior with patio & pool: Main living room: Kitchen, this came built-in with the house but oddly while it included an oven, there was no stove-top, so I had to buy one. The bar - this is my favourite feature; it's open to indoors and outdoors. As well as the wine racks I've added a mini-fridge, sink and shelves on the other side Big dining area, now all I need is to start hosting fancy dinner parties. Upstairs landing - this is a huge bright and airy space which I've turned into a second sitting room/TV room. Main bedroom - this is mine. There are two other bedrooms as yet unfurnished. Why do we need bathrooms in SL? I dunno, but a house feels weird to me without one. Aside from the rooms pictured, there's also another (very small ) sitting room downstairs, and a small room that's currently empty, which might end up being an office.

I love everything that you did, it looks like a professional designer decorated it. So modern and sophisticated! Also, I agree with you regarding bathrooms, especially the toilet. It’s not like in The Sims where we have needs and such but it just feels sooo weird and disappointing every time I move into a furnished home that has no toilet. My best avatar selfies were taken while sitting on the toilet FFS! 3 1
