The Beanery Cafe :: Looking For Staff (*Not A Club*)

The Beanery Cafe is a new venue which offers visitors the chance to express themselves.

Though poetry, prose, short stories, lyrics, spoken word... whatever the case may be, all forms of written and spoken word are showcased here.

Offering open mic nights, live musicians (in the near future), trivia nights and more, The Beanery Cafe will be needing a few hosts to help keep everything in order, as well as advertisers to spread the word about us. (This does not mean spamming other groups with a SLURL, mind you.)

As of right now, we are only open on Wednesday and Saturday nights for 2 hours at a time. Once the cafe has grown in popularity, we will be expanding our weekly venues to be (ideally) daily venues. 

Responsibilities include:

• Organizing the participants in an orderly manner and without favoritism
• Contributing some form of work is preferred to help make newcomers feel welcome, but not required
• Keeping in line with a 3-warning system before banning people from the premesis
• Monitoring group chat to ensrue that there is no spamming
• (Both advertising and hosting) Posting group notices when events are going to take place (in English - no $p3c1a! characters needed, thank you.)
• (Both advertising and hosting) Inviting people (without spamming, mind you) to come to the cafe
• (If advertising) Placing our banner and LM into adboards
• (If advertising) Placing events onto the SL website, both in applicable forums and the events page

 

As for payment, you will be payed L$100 per two-hour shift you work plus 100%  of any tips you receive.

No prior experience is required, but without any form of past-experience, I will be very thorough in your "run though test". (And yes, even experienced applicants will be tested.)
