Use the link below. The one provided above doesn't put you where you need to be.

There are plenty of very low costs places to rent. I have seen them as low as $5 lindens a week and now and then free.

If you look in the CLASSIFIEDS in SEARCH in your viewer and then choose "property rental" (top right drop down) and then type in "rental" as the search term, you will get a big list to explore.

EXPLORING is good when you are new :D

You are also in the wrong subforum for this discussion.

Please take this discussion here:

https://community.secondlife.com/forums/forum/120-land-forum/

You'll find everything you need in the Land Forum. People will be much better equipped to help you there.

The purpose of your post is... ? All you had to do was flag the thread and specify "wrong category" - that would have been the polite thing to do, but instead, you scold the person for making a mistake. You could have at-least proffered an answer while you were at it.

@PapiPlatano - There are a lot of good, free houses and other dwellings at Market Place. When you go to the Market Place (marketplace.secondlife.com) - look at the left for the category "Buildings and Other Structures" - then near the top of the page at the right is a pull-down menu called Sort By. Choose "Price: Lowest to Highest" and start perusing the results. :)

No need to flag the post. It's not like the OP was posting porn. My response was polite and helpful.

Well, yes and no - it's not helpful 1) after the fact (they cannot move it) and 2) they may not see your reply (you did not quote or tag them) - I'm just trying to be positive here :) Perhaps a more polite thing would be "...you made a boobo and posted your thread in the wrong category and you will get far better, more helpful replies in the correct category. But since it's already here, here are some tips... "
