Buy Region Question

Want to buy a region and want to know if this is only placed to look.  Don't want to mess with Linden Lab.

If you're wanting to actually own a region, then you can't avoid messing with LL - this is their party and they own all the cakes.

You will either have to pay them teir (mainland) or region fees (private).

If you rent a region from someone else, you don't have to deal with LL directly, but will pay more in the process.

Also If you are cool with the $249/month then buying a brand new region is the best way to go. Their $349 setup which includes the first month of rent.

If you are THAT against it, You can buy it through me if you really just want to, But i can only accept L$ for payment.. I own 6 regions so im ok with buying from LL

Okay good advice! I got some bad info along the way. Perhaps outdated.  Said Linden charged 1000 dollar setup plus.

Yeah thats not the case anymore.
New costs are 349 Setup, Includes first month.
$249/month..

Not unless you want grandfathered, which have a $195/month cost but they are quite pricey, Not to mention a $600 transfer fee on top of that price.

no  
grandfathered has nothing to do with the amount of prims, but it's a difference in price. For a prepaid amount of money you could buy off a part of the monthly maintenance fee.
This isnt the case anymore, and you can only get a grandfathered sim by buying one from another resident that already is grandfathered ( more expensive transferfee and selling price often)
The 30k prim  you can buy from LL directly at a additional fee.
