Beth Macbain Posted May 14, 2019 Share Posted May 14, 2019 Thought I'd start a new topic since we're settling in now. Tonight this little miss showed up on my doorstep. I'm assuming she's a stray but she came right in, got a drink from the bathtub, took a little snooze on the bed, and then hopped up on the lounger with me and the mister. Finicky little thing, though... she had absolutely no use for me, but seemed to be quite taken with my hubby... lol! We had to shoo her away since it was time for... well, Mr. Miggins and I hadn't seen each other in a few weeks and we had some, you know, catching up to do and didn't think an innocent little kitty cat needed to see that! Told her I heard the can opener from the boat next door and she lost interest in us with the hope of some fresh tuna from the neighbors. Have you had any interesting visitors? I think that is the same kitten that visits us in Washburn!.. and you're right, she definitely prefers my husband... she has learned to "tolerate" me as well now (i think).. haha.. We've also had a cute little squirrel visitor.. My talented husband made it a little nest to encourage it to stay.. but we haven't seen it back for a couple of weeks now...
