So hard to make friends.

I love SL and spend a lot of my time modding or decorating.
But I also hate it because I am alone 90% of the time!

Not surprisingly I am shy and struggle to make the first "IM"
in the beginning meeting people was so easy for me, I had
so many friends and so much to do.  Nowadays it feels like
it's just me playing this game.  Outside of events I usually 
don't see anyone.  I've tried going to hangouts, but I don't
really know any good ones for people around my age (20-28)

In all honesty I want to meet some friends and be able to
explore or even just chill and chat as well as shares the
same type of fashion/interests/hobbies etc. !!!

Hopefully it's not just me feeling this struggle!

You might get better results finding likeminded people if you'll expand on those though:

You should check out the new continent, Bellisseria. There is always someone around, actually usually, lots of someones. People driving, biking, walking. People have created amazing public hangouts for the exact purpose to meet new people!

Try dropping this requisite. It’s debatable whether it’d be critically important if you were looking for a serious, long-term romantic relationship with RL possibilities, but for friends? If you find you have common interests with the other, then you have common interests with the other. Couldn't possibly matter less if the age is exactly the same, or vastly different 😉

Yeah I guess I didn't need to put that.  Normally I just put things like this because I find more in common with people in that range!

Perhaps, if you gave older people more of a chance, you'd find you have a lot more in common with them than you think.

If you make stuff, it's not hard to meet people. Go to Builder's Brewery. Lots of builders to talk to.

As you get better at making stuff, you gradually meet the other people who are good at it.
