Been reading that it could be related to the unscheduled maintenance that's happening now.

Not 100% sure, but guess it's best to wait and try again later, maybe.

that usually means "Something is busted.  We're working on it."

Having the same issue. I'm not sure why because I saw that there was some maintenance to be done the 13th-16th.

That's what "unscheduled" means. They didn't plan on something breaking.  It just happened.  You've probably had something break unexpectedly too, I imagine.
