My complete winter decoration is here - just a single mesh snowman. Nothing more. It's kind of cute 😉 and it uses only 1 LI. And again this thing can be linked to simple convex hull prim and the link set would still be only 1 LI. Starting look around do I have a place for one more picture frame in the house; maybe a picture with a winter scene? 🥶 😄

They look really good, but I debated with myself if I should set them up. They disappear too close, unless your LOD is set over 3. Annoying that these work best with LOD 4.

Maybe I take them down and replace them with something else. Christmas - themed window boxes isn't so easy to find. Low land impact Christmas windows boxes, even harder to find. I thought these were perfect whan I saw them on the MP.

Following up the reply over... I normally don't care what people with really low LOD see. But I consider 2500 LOD is not low, but in the middle. And the window boxes isn't visible on that LOD and even at a relativly close distance. Thinking about ppl walking on ground. Obviously I took the first pictures on LOD 4.

So I consider taking them inside and have them there. The other house I have has more plain boxes, but they hold up better. Same LOD, 2500. World set to Midnight.

So many posts, lol. I know no one asked about the other window boxes, but they hold better. And with some editing, I can live with that box itself. I really don't like terracotta. The default is on the top.

First I havd to select the shadow under the box and set it to 100% transparency. It would look stupid with a shadow under boxes hanging above the ground. Then I used a white plank texture for the box and a red shaded one for the flowers and white tinted green in the middle. You can even use the outdoor siding from LH textures. Here is my little front yard decoration. I've used the string lights which @s2Pandora posted earlier. Just like @Marianne Little I've tinted them white, because I'm not the colorful person. 😄 They really are a blessing. I've linked them all together and they only take up 4li!

And since it really is very hard to find a proper christmassy window decoration, I decided to go with DDDs holiday garland and was surprised that it actually looks good. ^_^ 
They're only 1li!

My home for the holidays.

I like the multi-color lights.  I used a combination of the Linden Lights and the lights from "Real Lights."  I also used the Linden snow caps for the top of the house and some garlands from Hive.  I tried not to overdo it, but I just love seeing all the colors and lights.

I used the windlight "Blizzard" which is a pretty cool look for the winter.

See, now I just want to fill my boat with porn and teddy bears (they make ones you can ride, if you get my drift) with lots of animesh jungle creatures out on the deck.
