Here is my updated version on the Alderley. This is the smallest house, but once I organized the space I noticed no real difference in roominess. I fit in a nice bedroom partition and I had enough room for a reasonable kitchen and bath. I Added the sun room for kicking around with friends and family.
I have added:
Mesh Walking Stones made by me
3 Original Mesh White and Gold Floor Vases made in blender
The Rose Pergola Made by Me
The White Porch Swing Made by Me
The Blue Sun room Floor Carpet
The Tree/Bird Sun room silhouette, also made by me.

All the potted plants
I'm loving this. Even furnished, I still have 135 LI left!

I had a lot of fun making a small rooftop garden on the Evening Star. This will also work as outdoor dining. I don't think I will have dinner table and chairs inside.

4 pictures is overkill for a small space. But I enjoyed this decorating, and I wish I could show every plant. I hope you see the garden gnome?

Edit: I had the lowest possible draw distance, so the other boats should not fill up the background.

I just finished the full outward shell on my Windlass Recreation Project (on my own sim), just in time for the 16th anniversary. :) Recreating those windows was a beatch, btw. 😁 It's not a 100% identical copy, but I call it a reasonable facsimile. I cheated a bit on the front door, as that one just came from a Barnacle addon pack (photo 3). And pardon the crudity of the windlight: it's just midday, for a better view.

So, ready to vacate my old boat for one of them new trailers. :) (Provided those are also 350 LI).

Wow, really nice recreation! I think the trailers will only be 512 plots somehow..there are other posts somewhere talking about how LL folk hinted at giving options to have less land so you could also buy other land if you want to, rather than use all your premium allotment on a Linden Home, so I doubt it would come with 350LI. But it's just a hunch.

Thanks. I really, really, hope they'll be 350. But yeah, we'll see.

You did an amazing job there! ❤️ I remember seeing the earlier stages of your home, and you have significantly improved on it since! And I really love that bedroom and the kitchen. :)

That octopus rug is everything and I want it. May I ask who made it?

Sorta me.  I took the texture from an Aleymart boring square rug, and put it on a Bazar mesh rug.  I loved how it turned out, it looks so fuzzy!  Aleymart's stuff is full perm, so I can pass you the texture, but you gotta find your own rug to place it on haha.

I just planted this. Large L-shaped flowerbed, ivy and then I had to find some furniture for the porch. I am afraid this ends with an empty house, or a house with a single beanbag. The LI is running out fast. The huge wrap porch is so decorative, and it is tempting to finish everything outside.

Has anyone found a grass texture that's similar to Bellisseria grass? This is a another LL grass texture I used, but it is not right! I tried other textures that I had bought, but they aren't better. Most are worse.

I had to put a big plaster on my lawn. Otherwise there would have been a part in beige without gras on.

I used the texture we have in our library - Terrain Textures - Default set / Default-Set-Grass

I modified the coolur to match my lawn with colour 219 213 180 (a very light beige)

That looks amazing!  I was wondering where all of the other houseboats were, until I reread that this is a recreation 😲  Very nicely done, it looks really good :)  Now you will always have your houseboat :D

Edit:

And only 64 LI 😍

Yes, that was the idea: to have and to hold my boat, and store it on my own sim, where no moth or dust can corrupt it. :) And, I'm no longer prim-limited, of course. I added tons of stuff to the interior already. But yeah, the other houseboats, they're kinda not there. 😍 I will need to construct a whole new marina for it, with yachts and everything.

As for 'only 64 LI', hahahaha, no, only in my dreams. :) That was me moving the mouse out of the way, when I took the screenshot, causing it to hover over the  hills envo. :) The whole build is 659 prim now; but, if I substract the 219 prim (of what the real houseboat costs), I'm currently at 440 LI for the interior. Still not half-bad, I think.
