Marianne Little 15,170
The living room in Overlook. I decided very early that I would build a wall and use the nook for a bookcase. I built the wall, but found out that an entry set is better. This is just inside the door. The wall is behind 2 of the 3 pictures behind the sofa. You can see the vertical brown trim - it starts there. I had already decided to use a fireplace between the 2 windows. It is no panel in the roof. I found out that I should use some raw panel there. I can't figure out what to do with the blue part of the wall. I want some woven rug, tapestry or quilt maybe. I will move the three small pictures when I find something I like better. I am debating curtains or not. Not, for now.
Elyeah 1,300
I was lucky enough to grab a lovely log home on my phone. I have so enjoyed starting to decorate it tonight. The log regions are so lovely, I adore the wall and ivy and lilies in particular in the creation pack. I'm a fan of all the home types and the Victorian homes I did not think could be equalled. I was wrong. The whole Linden team and moles have done a fantastic job. I can't wait to explore the areas surrounding my new log home.

Marianne Little 15,170
My Victorian is not finished. And the things I have done in the Log House, had I a very, very clear idea about before I started. Only thing was that the veranda came on another wall. Because if the view against the lake. So I have not touched the upstairs rooms, and the kitchen walls am I not happy with. I haven't done a thing with the small room downstairs either. 18 minutes ago, LittleMe Jewell said: I do not know how the hell you people decorate and landscape so fast -- and do a fabulous job of it to boot. Cane Sutter 52
OK, I'm loving seeing everyone's pics! I was looking around my neighborhood and saw someone had changed their floor texture to one of their own - how on earth do I do this? I tried finding a tutorial but I can't seem to find anything. Thanks! Edited April 3, 2020 by Cane Sutter

All looney tunes by everyone, until the aliens did come 😺 1
Trinity1776 1,111
I'm seeing some really great rustic brick fireplaces here...that I haven't yet been able to find. Anyone want to share some links?
Nando Yip 3,205
I turned an old alt into a premium one and got this cabin with a great location in Banmis Highlands, it has two Secoias and a bridge right next to it, and water in the other two, I opted for the Grand View I will decorate and try for 3 months and see what happens to follow, wait for the next topics.

I found mine on the MP from ChiMia https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/ChiMia-Franklin-Fireplace/9171630 (I know it's just brick behind the metal fireplace but thought I'd link it just in case) Edited April 3, 2020 by Cane Sutter
Coby Foden 15,912
Garden work pretty much done now. Outside build done too. Kitchen inside the house is ready, bedroom is almost ready. I have no idea yet what to do with upstairs. 69 LI still available in the parcel for additional decorations/furnishing. Region is Axton. Cougar Sangria 868
I have been a premium member since the second day of my Second Life. On my second day of existence in this virtual world I chose a Meadowbrook Upper Skylight. I was so excited to have my own place. The first two weeks in my new home were spent getting my avatar up to snuff. Eventually as I learned the ropes here I would go on to lease a homestead and then move up to a full region, but I have always kept a Linden Home ( Meadowbrook or Tahoe) as my second home. I have been a resident of Bellisseria since day one and was so excited to see the release of the log homes. I have been playing the Game of Homes since Monday. One of my alts lucked into a nice parcel on the first day. But I was wanting one for my main. The second day nothing I landed appealed to me. Today, the third day, I landed my dream parcel with a new release of the region Solania. Still had red lettering everywhere lol. Thought maybe I was tp'd to the wrong place until I checked the about land and saw my name as owner. I am over the moon with excitement. While I have had many beautiful parcels in Bellisseria, this parcel checks off all boxes for me. View and landscaping already in place were at the top of my list. While I will add a few trees and some flowers this parcel would be just fine without anything else. Will have to see how my decorating goes, and I have a very specific plan in mind, but that will come later. I am in no hurry decorate. I may set out a swing and just veg out for a while admiring the view from my Grandview. I am down to just one Linden Home now as I abandoned my alt's log home. I wish each and everyone of you good luck in finding your dream parcel. Edited April 3, 2020 by Cougar Sangria Forgot to add the photos...DUH.

Torry Turner 216
I have yet to be able to decorate my Log Home due to the double house rezzing bug. I have submitted a ticket and messaged Quartz Mole, but they were not online. However, here are some pics of the gorgeous spot I got lucky enough to snag on my second try. It has two sides of water which includes water in front and a rez site off to the side of the water along with a cute log sitting cove. No direct dirt path way to the home so it feels very private. Here are some pics, don't mind the double home lol.
