How much does it cost to buy a legacy name ?

You cannot buy a legacy name.  In fact, it is a TOS violation to sell an account name at all.  Both the seller and the buyer can get in trouble.

TOS, Sect. 4.3: "You may not sell, transfer or assign your Account or its contractual rights, licenses and obligations, to any third party (including, for the avoidance of doubt, permitting another individual to access your Account) without the prior written consent of Linden Lab. "

You may be thinking of the feature -- not yet available ---  for changing your username.  That is likely to be released sometime later this year, we are told.  If so, it will likely be available to Premium accounts, and for a fee of at least $25.  For now, it's all speculation.
