The New Linden Homes Update Post

Today, we are pleased to release our latest Linden Home theme, Newbrooke!

Our concept of a modern container home community is stylish, warm, and inviting, while being nestled in a contemporary setting of rolling hills peppered with small lakes, ponds, and public pools.

All of the Newbrooke regions are offered in both 1024sqm and 512sqm sized parcels.   In total, there are 8 stylish house models to choose from, and the smaller 512sqm parcel homes can also be placed on a 1024sqm parcel, giving you a larger outdoor area. 

As always, there is a theme-specific content pack available from the house controller, enabling you to match the style and theme with any modifications you wish to do. (Please refer to the covenant rules). 

Also for this theme we have a brand new community region, “Newbank,“ for residents to enjoy and hang out with their neighbors.

Today, we are pleased to release our latest new Linden Home theme, Sakura!

 

 

Sakura is our take on a Japanese inspired home theme: a mix of modern architecture that respects classical design concepts. Houses are clustered together in cozy neighborhoods with carefully manicured landscaping befitting of a Japanese motif. Retaining walls provide dramatic terrain height changes, canals, and privacy between parcels. The canal and road network runs throughout the theme winding among volcanic peaks and valleys.

All of the Sakura regions are offered in both 1024sqm and 512sqm sized parcels. Sakura provides 8 beautiful and highly unique house models, and the smaller 512sqm parcel homes can also be placed on a 1024sqm parcel, giving you a larger outdoor garden space. Every Sakura region has public rezzing zones for both cars and small to medium sized watercraft (just mind the numerous bridges please). 

As always, we have provided a theme-specific content pack available from the house controller, enabling you to match the style and theme with any modifications you wish to do around your home. Please refer to the covenant rules.
 

 

Be sure to visit the walled community region, Shobu, for dozens of small gardens and koi ponds, beautiful sights, and a center structure large enough for most all hosted events. After enjoying the gardens, hike up the snow capped dormant volcano of Mount Soji, a 4 region park marking the heart of Sakura along with the Shobu gardens.

Hello!   Who's ready for some hoverboard action?

We are excited to announce the long awaited update to the Traditional houses is finally here!

 

 

As we roll this update out over Bellisseria, residents with Traditional homes will notice new options and features. Each of the 4 original home styles will have an open plan version selectable from the mailbox house controller menu. Not only that, but ALL of the traditional homes will now have a custom color tinting system for interior walls similar to other themes. As an extra bonus, the house controller has an option for having the Linden Homes security system sent directly to you rather than being part of the content pack. 

 

 

A lot of work went into this upgrade and this is the first time we have tried updating an entire theme of released regions. Please be patient if you don’t see the changes in your region right away. You will first notice the update in the mailbox menu. To update your house you will need to rerez the house on your parcel. 

But that’s not all!! We are adding special house number signs to the content pack. Just rez them out and place them around your doorway for your own house number!

We are ALSO debuting a revamped Chippewa Junction as our Traditional themed Community Region. Located on the main hub of the Bellisseria Railroad, Chippewa Junction Town Hall features reservable spaces for conferences, meetings, garden parties and even weddings!

Hello Bellisseria and welcome to December where it is hot and sunny somewhere, like in Florida!

 

Hot on the heels of our update of the Traditional homes comes an all new update to our popular Houseboat theme with FOUR NEW HOUSE STYLES!

These are not new versions of the existing houseboats, but four all new styles of houseboats taking many of their architectural cues from the Stilt theme with brighter colors while still keeping an open interior feel our houseboats have long been known for.

 

These homes also have the added feature of having the Linden Homes security system sent directly to you from the house controller menu as well as the custom interior wall tinting upgrade.

 

 

But that’s not all!! We are ALSO adding special house number signs to the content packs for Houseboats, Trailers, and Log Homes. Just rez them out and place them around your doorway for your own home house numbers!
 

Update features:

• Four brand new Houseboat designs to choose from.
• New house models upgraded with a custom tinting system, controlled via the house control panel.
• House controllers have now been updated to use common communications protocols with the rezzer and with houses on the parcels with which they are associated, so that all themes (except Fantasy) may safely be mixed and matched.

As we announced earlier today, we have released a new feature that enables estate owners to disallow scripted agents from accessing regions within their estate.

Many of you have requested that we come up with a solution to scripted agents and their presence within the Linden Homes regions of Bellisseria.  Therefore, we have enabled this feature on the Bellisseria Linden Homes estate as well.

Additionally, we have updated the covenant to reflect this change.

Announcing… The BelliHub!

For months, we have been working behind the scenes to provide all of Bellisseria (and Second Life in general) a place where they can go to find information regarding Bellisseria, meet up with residents living in Bellisseria and have all of their questions answered. 

Today, we are pleased to release the BelliHub!

BelliHub features:

• Information: Links to pages with details on things like how to get a home, Premium membership, using the land tools, the Bellisseria covenant, etc.
• Bellisseria Events Center: where members of the Bellisseria Performers Group can mark their events on the calendar for all to see.
• Demo Homes: Finally a place where residents can rez and walk around all of the currently released home themes and models.
• Hangout: A games area for residents to hang out and interact.

The BelliHub and BelliDemo regions are a resource for everyone who wants to help prospective new Linden Home owners, or just hang out and discuss all things Bellisseria.

Merrymount is the newest of our Bellisseria community regions and is made for our Victorian theme. Nestled just across from Carrollton Bay, Merrymount is a wonderful place for afternoon tea, a lazy Sunday playing games harkening back to the 1800’s, or taking in a nighttime fireworks display. Now open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

Speaking of prizes, do we have some more new ones for you! The long awaited Open Floor Plan Victorian homes are finally finished and ready to go.* When they go live they will be updated on all of the Victorian theme regions and be available from the house controller mailbox. While you’re at the controller, those picking up a new content pack will notice something new as well. Victorian house number signs made specially for the Victorian theme, as well as Victorian wooden pull toys!

Introducing our new Linden Homes theme, Ranch!

 

 

The all new Ranch theme features country style Ranch homes in multiple sizes and open floor plans on 2048m2 parcels. It is a beautiful rural area with gravel roads, split rail fences, windmills, silos, and stunning fields of wildflowers.

More land means more land impact. Previous themes have 351 or 175 LI per parcel. These have a whopping 703! Plus a new theme means a new content pack, with wildflowers, hay bales, and such. 

Speaking of ‘plus’, please note that these homes are only available if you are a Premium Plus member. Additionally, due to high demand at initial launch, Premium Plus selection of specific Ranch homes will not be available until July 10, 2023.

GoldyPatch and the 3 Bears

Once upon a time there was a Linden named GoldiPatch. One day he was walking through the Linden Homes Demos and he saw a beautiful little Ranch home. He looked inside and scrunched up his nose and said, "This room is tooooooo small." So he clicked on the controller and rezzed a different house and looked inside. Shaking his head he said, "This room is tooooo big." So he used the controller to rez another house.

This time he noticed something strange. There were 6 more options in the menu. The Moles had added 6 versions of homes with more wall dividers in them! GoldiPatch rezzed one and looked inside. He gasped and smiled and said, "This room is juuuuuust right!"

At that very moment three bears came around the corner from the back of the house. There was a Papa Bear, a Momma Bear and a little tiny Baby Bear. Baby Bear pointed at GoldiPatch and said, "SOMEbody has been messing with the controller while WE were inside looking at Ranch houses, Momma... and THERE HE IS!"

Momma Bear growled and GoldiPatch ran away as fast as his little legs could take him because he saw The Revenant and didn't want to end up like Leonardo DiCaprio.

Once upon a time. Long long ago… well, about a week ago… Magellan was wandering… I mean “exploring” through the Fantasy regions in Bellisseria when he noticed the water levels there are actually quite high. Immediately he knew there had to be a call to action. “HOLY SCHNIKES!!! What if there is a flood?!?! Residents are going to be washed away or have wet, soggy unmentionables!!!”

Ignoring that last part, the Moles lept into action. Hammers were hammering, saws were sawing and dust was floating through the air. Once the cloud dissipated, the Moles said, “Voila!” and before Magellan stood a completely NEW Fantasy home… a TREEHOUSE home!
 

Magellan looked around the tree carefully… then he clicked on the rope hanging from above and climbed up to the platform deck in the branches. He looked all around and nodded his head approvingly.

“I like it!” he said. Then he went inside and looked around. He liked the clean lines of the interior and the cute little rooms. But he was feeling a little claustrophobic.

“Make another one but knock down that wall!” And the Moles did.

“Let’s have one with more built in features! Like a cozy little loft and some built in bookshelves, and maybe a spiral staircase with the tree coming through the middle!” And the Moles did.

“Now add some walls back to that one because I’m eccentric and indecisive!” and the Moles did.

When the Moles were finally done, there were 4 new Fantasy Treehouses. Magellan looked around. He smiled and shouted, “SHIP IT!” Then he went to find a safe place to store his unmentionables.
