Handy for the general residents possibly, but not so nice for the folks living anywhere close to the attached sandboxes.  Those of us that have lived next to sandboxes KNOW that we no longer want to :D.    Just saying.     That would pretty much give the new lands instant "undesirable neighborhoods".

While it seems like trailer parks "may" be in the continents future, I believe most folks would still like a nice view. :SwingingFriends:

I hear you. They could avoid this by having a buffer put in. Some well-placed trees, hills, land manicuring and you'd never see the sandbox. Or by separating them by a sailing/ocean sim so the housing wouldn't see the sandboxes. Oh. Here we go, they put a buffer sim between for sailing, the sandbox sim could be terraformed to resemble a large island so it would conform and fit in with the theme.

That would also provide a place for people to rez a boat, since right now the only ones able to do that are the ones that were home and online at the right time to get a houseboat.

LOL. I am just (personally) having a difficult time seeing why the Premium sandboxes (almost always near empty) won't do. A simple click and you are there.  But should they put in sandboxes, I am happy for you!

[Psst] those carefully placed trees do nothing for all the FLOATING building pads with the clutter (seldom lovely) :D.

Right. I use the 4-sim premium adult sandboxes for large jobs. 4 hour autoreturn. Those are rarely used. I've set up ramps and tracks there for bike testing. I'm also a Builder's Brewery member. And I sometimes use the Linden sim adjacent to Orville Airport, Arowana, for quiet testing. It has zero scripts running, so it's useful for checking the script overhead on objects. If you're a premium member, there's no shortage of sandboxes.
