The Linden Homes Photo Thread

I really like the metal sculptures that adorn parks and byways in Bellevaria (the chalet regions). So I set out to take photos late one night, and it seems the naturalistic statuary attracts many various SL denizens!

First, my own dog.  Flycan, dear, no matter how long you howl out your adoration of the cute fox near our home, she will never ever notice your weird charms.

The stag statues are particularly majestic.  However, this one seems to have ... confused these fawns.  Or are they just desperately seeking a father figure?

Ibex are very cool European alpine mountain goats.  Bellevaria's ibex are often found high atop rocky fountains; this one is very appropriately sited with a mountain backdrop.  Oh, and to the dear lady in the bodysuit:  just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean you SHOULD.

... to be continued

I know it's spring ... and I know the bear sculptures are really ... shall we say 'attractive' ... but this nautch dance  ... maybe it would be better termed "Bear Burlesque" ... I don't know ... maybe get a room?

The LDPW hand pumps are both rustic and cute, and I suppose one could say that garden gnomes are also rustic and cute.  But are they going to begin trekking all over Bellevaria to join this circus?  Evidently so!

Hello Everybody :D  So I have been waiting and waiting for these new stilts to release that are on the main channel, so I decided to grab a HB, since I don't decorate much inside.  Well I landed one on Tuna Turner lol, and it opens to the channel.  Well I put up my draw distance to soak in the view, and a rainbow over the new stilts?? these are just down from the waves.  its so pretty, I never seen them in the sky before in belli.

I'm thinking that SOMEBODY (looks around for a butterfly) left one of these EEP skies active on your parcel.

You can check that, and change it if you wish, in the About Land dialog.  See a little over halfway down this wiki page.

Since the Victorians were launched, I used Verne first, then The Doyle, and now I decided to try The Hardy; I made a balcony to enjoy the magnificent sunset that I can have here.

131769965_TheHardy_varanda_005.thumb.jpg.919e6508e0080e36fc1a0cb2ae0f656f.jpg

I tried to make the balcony integrated so that it does not overshadow the original architecture of the house.

Essa é a frente coloquei um relógio de torre, e alguns vidros da sala de baixo tem uma leve coloração de verde.

There is also a gate covered by a vineyard, which was the only addition I made to the garden, as the house is so big that the landscaping done by the moles is sufficient for my personal taste.

This is The Hardy's living room, I mixed the styles and tried to give it a cosmopolitan look ...

I used a "Cafona" wallpaper from the 40s dyed with lead gray, in the curtains I also used a pattern of leaves that resembles a fabric that we call "Chita" but monochrome.

I invented some details for the ceiling, I don't like very smooth ceilings, I prefer to always put some detail or relief.

I could add some more details, but the house is big and I need free prims to decorate the other spaces.

The Hardy, the first floor has a sleeping and playing room, basic and contemporary.

And a place for books and reading, I created a bookcase with the same stucco as the wall to support objects, and placed a large sofa for creative leisure.
