I buy a stuff called ' RF Mesh Rope Coil, bondage, restraint" , here is the link where I buy this stuff https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/RF-Mesh-Rope-Coil-bondage-restraint/5626483

Sadly, I can't figure out how it works. Can someone please help me ? Apology if I created this topic in a wrong forums.

There should be instructions included. If not try contacting the creator since they know best how their creations work with RLV.

Make sure you have RLV activated in preferences. You'd be surprised at how many don't know it is off in FS by default. Not sure if all TPVs have gone to this default setting though so check to be sure.

I think that by linking the product, you should have posted this in the adult section. We'll know it belongs there if it gets moved.

Did you contact the merchant you bought it from or their CSR?   They should be told to include instructions.  I presume you have RLV enabled in your viewer and worn the item?

That item will definitely require RLV to be enabled; only then will its functions work.

I don't know if the standard Second Life viewer offers that facility now - it don't think it does - so a TPV (third party viewer) might  be needed instead.

I use a TPV, Firestorm. RLV still has to be manually selected; it is not active by default. Once FS  (everyone abbreviates Firestorm to FS) is up and running and you are logged in, use the top bar menu and go to  Avatar -> Preferences -> Firestorm -> Allow Remote Scripted Viewer Controls (RLVa). Check that box, then relog. RLV will now remain operable unless you reverse that process.

Incidentally, RLV can be used for a whole range of useful functions, apart from the ones in mind here!

TPVs that meet with Linden Labs approval are shown here :-

Please, please, please do not use an unapproved viewer! There might be some nasty risks to your inworld money, to say the least.

Everyone has their own opinion about TPVs, but FS is a very popular choice, and can be obtained (free) from :-

Good luck in your struggle!!

You left 2 comments on the item in the MP asking for help within minutes of each other.. That is NOT what the comments section is for. Send the creator a Notecard with your questions or an IM.

In fact, the main "Revue" section on a marketplace item isn't really the right place either. Always contact the creator directly, as Drake said above. You should also always see if there is a group associated with those products. Do a search in the inworld (ie. logged in to your viewer) search facility - use the "Web Search" tab and search for the maker's name. Scroll down the results until you find matching results marked with a couple of little heads - that will be the group that you need to join and then pose your questions.

There is a support group for the product you've bought. You're very likely to find someone who will give you all the answers you need. You never know, you might even be lucky enough to find someone who will help you to tie up any loose ends, as we sometimes say, too!

Your profile suggests that you are genuinely very new to Second Life. If so, you have definitely jumped in at the deep end! Sometimes that's the quickest way to learn to swim; sometimes its the fastest way to drown! Don't be too impatient - spend a bit of time splashing around in the shallow end!

This is a device intended to be used with RLV.  RLV is the "Restrained Love Viewer".  RLV functionality is also included in many other third party viewers, like Firestorm.  However, it is NOT in the standard viewer.  Install a viewer that has RLV.  Then enable it in the viewer's Preferences (In Firestorm, it's in the Firestorm tab of the Preferences window).  Then log off, and log back on again.

Now that RLV is enabled, right click the rope object in your inventory and choose Add.  If you then click the ropes, you'll most likely get a menu of choices.  To use all of them, you may have to enlist the help of a friend, and use the RLV menu to designate them as your "owner".  Then THEY will be able to click the ropes and make you do things.

I'm only able to give very general directions, since I don't own this item.  Most items like this will have a help notecard included in the package, or a Help button in the menu that will open a website with additional information.
